Pieces II.

The night air was cold and silent. Each breath revealed what was inside, thousands of hidden truths mystically revealed. As she stood in the midst of ungodly silence – this is the sound of space, she thought – the serpents of her silver hair were alive with meaning.


From atop the Tree he watched Luna search the scorched souls for her own. The night air – the same night she breathed…such enchantment…such bewilderment…such sanctity – conjured up these thoughts which swirled undyingly through his mind. If only he could tell her. If only he knew her. The air, such seducing stillness, flowed through their shared space like love through their souls and together…apart…together they counted the stars…6…1 more…2 more…
